Steve Cokely Born June 17, 1952 One of the founding fathers of the "woke" community Steve Cokely was known as a futurologist (systematic forecasting of future trends in society) who taught lectures on water conservation, organic farming, and communal living. Dr. Dilbert Blair Born: February 13, 1933 Deceased: January 31, 2016 This figure, like many of these other influential minds had many titles while pursuing his goals throughout his lifetime. Toussaint Louverture Born: May 20 1743 Deceased: April 7, 1803 Here in 2016 many are eager for the release of Nate Parker's 'Birth Of A Nation,' a film based on the Nat Turner's Southhampton Rebellion. Some may argue that Turner's 1831 uprisings had minimal affects that benefited those engaged in the first place, due to the fact that he and his followers were not completely victorious in the end (ultimately ending in 50-60 executions) . O ne the worlds most revolutionary leaders/military minds, that led his fellow Haitians to stand against the entire country of France, was Toussaint Louverture.
