Yo!!!! Loud Vibe Nation!!!
It's been a while but I'm back. I know everyone has had an enjoyable and relaxing summer with this heat slowly rising. I wanted to get a new post going ready to see what is on everyones' mind with this past trial of George Zimmerman. The media has had a field day on this decision made by a jury of all but 1 white females. In my eyes (from the "Fredericksburg perspective") the media is dividing the masses based on race. Just from what I have heard there are a few people that feel a town hall meetings should be started to start discussion with this case. But what many people don't realize is that these distractions is planned to have spectators react off of built up emotions, but for what? So another incident can be underway, maybe even incite riots? Only the creator knows what will happen toward our future as the human race. What we can be sure of is this will not be the last case were we as melanated people ask are we being treated fairly or given justice in a seemingly unjust society. As we look at our facts (some call it HIStory) dating back to when Columbus first set foot on this great land there have always been unjust treatment towards our people from others races. From the theft of the land to the construction of this system that holds many of us captive (physically and mentally). It would seem pointless to look for justice in a system that was created to treat us as sub humans. Before I start going in on some Marcus Garvey swagg (Pro-Africanism) I want to leave all of our followers with a quote I think I may have touched on in a previous post. Whenever anyone give you information whether it be the media or someone you believe would never stir you down the wrong path of knowledge (like me) never take their word for it; do your own research and draw your own conclusions. It is the only way to find your personal truth as opposed to following along with someone else's agenda or truth. Don't forget to leave a comment so we can get some dialogue going. Until the next time its your favorite DJ reminding you to rise above the bs shine through the negativity, and keep those positive vibes grown. Keep Vibing. 13Love
